“…once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act.”

Late Nights

It's past 10 p.m. I just finished eating dinner 15 minutes ago. Taco Bell. In the last month I've come homeafter a day of work, errands, church stuff, you name it—after 8 p.m. at least two-thirds of the time.

Life is about to change, itsn't it?

I can't wait!

You are right. Your life is about to change. Big time. You and Derek are about to start on what I've called the most wonderfully difficult blessing of my life, parenthood. Enjoy these last days just the two of you, but also enjoy the dream that is coming true. You are living in answered prayer. We are all just blessed to watch God work in and through you and Derek. Praise be to God and go have fun in Russia!

It will change, but in so many blessed ways! Although there are days you will barely be able to keep your eyes open by 8 p.m. it is so worth every moment! You are in my thoughts and prayers. We are so excited for your family!! Enjoy your trip!! I cannot wait to hear more!
